TMJ has a vac work programme which runs out of the Pietermaritzburg offices, for one week in the June / July holidays. The aim of the programme is to offer students an opportunity to take part in a number of legal exercises and to experience the practical side of the legal profession.
A vac student will be exposed to the following fields of law:
- Commercial
- Conveyancing
- Employment and Labour
- Estates, Trusts and Tax
- Litigation
- Personal injury
- Public Law
Only third and fourth year students from around the country, who are dedicated, with good interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and an enthusiasm for the law, will be considered.
