David completed his articles of clerkship in Pietermaritzburg and has been practicing as an attorney since 1975 mostly in Durban. He attended Natal University in Pietermaritzburg where he received his Natal Law Certificate in 1973. David is a generalist with preferred areas of practice in the field of commercial transactions, commercial High Court litigation, insolvency law and family law.
David has served as President of the KwaZulu Natal Law Society, Chairman of the Attorneys Fidelity Fund and Chairman of the Attorneys Insurance Indemnity Fund.
He is a Martizburg College Old Boy and served as Chairman of its Governing Body and President of its Old Boys Association.
David has recently merged his own practice with TMJ and is now in the Umhlanga office.
