In 2000 Michael completed his articles of clerkship, was admitted as an attorney and joined TMJ (formerly Shepstone & Wylie Tomlinsons) in Pietermaritzburg as a professional assistant in the litigation department. His experience lies predominantly in civil and commercial litigation. He has held the position of Managing Director of the firm since September 2012.
Michael is a Maritzburg College alumnus and graduate of the University of the Free State. He is a member of the Board of the Wykeham Collegiate school where he currently serves as the Chairman.
